The Mailroom and Administration Assistant will be responsible for managing incoming daily mail and returned mail, ensuring items are scanned, sorted, and delivered to the correct internal teams within agreed service levels. The role requires a reliable and organised individual who can work accurately, manage their time effectively, travel between the local Blairgowrie offices as needed, and work independently in a quieter office environment.
Full UK driving licence is required for this role. A car allowance is provided, and business mileage is reimbursable per company policy. Travel between office locations requires your own vehicle.
Hours: Part-time, Monday to Friday, 12:00pm to 3:00pm.
• Salary – £10,530 to £11,310 per annum DOE

• Receive, sort, and process incoming daily mail and returned mail
• Operate mail scanning equipment to ensure mail is captured accurately and efficiently
• Deliver mail and scanned items to the appropriate internal teams in line with agreed service level agreements
• Travel between local office locations to collect, deliver, or process mail as required
• Maintain accurate records of mail received, scanned, distributed, or returned
• Identify and escalate any issues that may affect mail delivery timescales or service levels
• Ensure mail handling is completed securely and in line with internal procedures
• Understand how to deal with confidential mail handling
• Support internal teams with general administrative tasks during quieter periods
• Contribute to the smooth running of daily office operations by being flexible and proactive
• Ability to follow procedures and handle mail securely and confidentially
• Previous experience in a mailroom, administration, office support, or similar role would be beneficial
• Confident using office equipment, with the ability to learn and operate mail scanning machinery
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet agreed deadlines and service levels
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with a range of internal teams
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working alone for periods of time in an office location that may not be busy
• Comfortable carrying out routine tasks accurately and consistently
