Billing Analyst

We’re looking for a confident and dedicated Billing Analyst to join our diligent team in Ayr. Main responsibilities include processing invoice runs within pre-determined specified timelines, producing reports for all areas of the business. A keen eye for detail will help you maintain accuracy of data, analyse the precision of billing processes and identify potential errors.

This position will suit someone who is confident, enjoys problem-solving, and can work under their own initiative in a lively and hardworking environment.

This is an onsite role requiring you to be in the office Monday to Friday.

What you'll be doing

• Process invoice runs within pre-determined specified timelines
• Analyse the precision of billing processes and identify potential errors
• Maintain accuracy of the billing data in line with set KPI’s
• Onboard new contracts to customer accounts
• Produce weekly/monthly reports for multiple areas of the business
• Follow the Direct Debit process, both cancellations and new set-ups
• Analyse our Wholesale costs to ensure these are as expected, or otherwise take corrective action
• Run scheduled audits and ensure any follow up action is carried out
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure more complex billing queries are investigated and resolved within set KPIs
• Opportunity for involvement in automation and improvement of business processes

• You will be expected to carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required in line with your main duties

What you'll bring to the role

• Previous experience in a Data Analytics or similar position is desirable
• Competent in all Microsoft office packages including Excel
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability and resilience to deal with challenge and ambiguity
• Must have strong logical and analytical skills
• Must be a strong team player, with the ability to work collaboratively across functions and departments
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
