• Grow with us: 28 days’ holiday (rising to 33 with service), ongoing training, and progression opportunities
• Receive all necessary IT, PPE, meter reading equipment, and even a van, if required in the region
As a Meter Reader, you’ll be the face of Castle Water, playing a vital role in:
• Conducting routine and special meter readings across an allocated region in the southeast of England. We’ll expect you to cover other regions in the Thames Valley area when required.
• Investigating, reporting and escalating unique cases to support colleagues in resolving customer issues and health and safety risks.
• Using your skills to capture and verify data via the mobile app which includes meter read, location and occupier details to ensure bills are accurate and reflect real usage.
• Working autonomously and as part of a team to collectively achieve monthly targets.
• Occasionally assisting in supply reconnections and other field tasks.
• Delivering exceptional customer service at every interaction.
• Attend monthly team meetings at our Brentford office for regular updates and training.
You’ll work both independently and as part of a dynamic, supportive team led by an experienced Team Leader.

• A professional attitude, strong communication skills, and a knack for problem-solving.
• IT competency (especially Microsoft Office) and the ability to use GPS/satnav tools.
• Optional: Experience in cash collections or debt resolution is a bonus!
