We’re hiring a TPI Development Manager to join our fast-paced Sales Team in Ayr and is central to Castle Water’s Sales strategy in the Scottish Market. You will split your time between the field and our Ayr office, whilst working closely with the TPI Co-ordinator.
As a TPI Development Manager, you will grow company revenue by effectively managing the Third Party Intermediary sales channel. This will involve proactively identifying and contracting new TPI’s (brokers, dealers etc.) and managing their relationship with Castle Water.
You will encourage TPI’s to recommend Castle Water to their customers, and ensure they are sufficiently motivated to provide a consistent stream of new business. This will require regular and proactive engagement with contracted and prospective TPI’s, and ensuring there are no roadblocks in them recommending Castle Water as their provider of choice. Responsibilities include managing a pipeline of prospective customers via the TPI channel, negotiating pricing and contract terms, and facilitating the transfer of new customers into Castle Water’s portfolio. The TPI Development Manager will also utilise their strong relationships with TPI’s to meet team retention targets and resolve customer issues as required.
You will report to Sales Team Leader who will set targets and KPI’s based on the number of new TPI’s contracted and sales achieved via this channel.

• Securing new TPI contracts and nurturing further relationships to increase sales volumes
• Effectively managing a pipeline of prospects and presenting sales forecasts to senior management
• Gathering pricing/market data and constructively feeding this back to senior management to inform Sales strategy decisions
• Reactive TPI/client retention as necessary – negotiating pricing and contract terms
• Collaborating with colleagues to facilitate accurate pricing and terms on National Tenders
• Utilising TPI relationships to facilitate issue resolution and payment as required
• Planning, preparing and delivering sales presentations to potential new TPIs
• Any other ad-hoc task as required
• Excellent negotiation, verbal, written and numerical skills
• Confident making and receiving telephone calls with customers, external contacts and all levels of the business
• Ability to understand and address complex issues
• Effective time management skills and organisational skills
• Experience of working in a fast paced environment, under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Good knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel and Office 365 – Desirable
