At Castle Water, we believe in nurturing the next generation of talent, and we were delighted to welcome Chloe to our Marketing team for her internship. From campaign planning to creative design, Chloe has immersed herself in the world of marketing and gained valuable experience along the way. We caught up with her to hear about her time with us.
Tell us about your internship at Castle Water
My internship was within the marketing team. Throughout this experience, I was able to learn and build on skills within marketing that will support me through my time at university and my future career.
What have you learnt during your internship so far?
During my time as an intern, I have learnt many digital and creative skills such as producing campaigns, planning and executing events, administrative skills and much more. It has been great to be able to learn a variety of skills within marketing and see the way everything comes together.
Did you step outside your comfort zone during your internship?
I definitely stepped outside my comfort zone at times. My internship has helped me to build my confidence and meet new people. Although difficult at times, it’s been good to push myself to do new things.
Would you consider working full-time at Castle Water in the future?
I would definitely consider working at Castle Water full-time as I really enjoy the working environment and how every day comes with new experiences.
Why did you choose Castle Water to do an internship?
It’s very difficult to find good work experience, and after speaking with another employee at Castle Water and researching the business, I decided it would be an amazing opportunity to work for a local company.
What was your favourite project you worked on?
My favourite project would be the Internal Water Efficiency campaign that I created. This project consisted of a 6-week campaign and saw us introduce new water efficiency initiatives within our offices. This project combined many skills that I learnt such as creative design work, internal communications and administrative tasks.
